“Israel must halt West Bank settlement activity…” –President Obama on May 28, 2009 after meeting Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

Friends who share my strong commitment to make sure the bond between the United States and Israel is unbreakable today, tomorrow and forever.” Obama June 4, 2008 during his speech to AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee)
On June 4, 2009 President Obama spoke to the Arab and Muslim “worlds”. On the surface at least, Obama’s speech marked a turning point in the American Administration speech on the Middle East in the last 60 years. Predictably, his even-handed-with-the-Muslims-speech was received in all the typical ways. Political operative Dick Morris characterized it as America “turning her back on Israel” while Rep Gary Ackerman (D-NY) said in reference to the settlements issue that “I don’t think anybody wants to dictate to an ally what they have to do in their own national security interests.”
We are not witnessing the AIPAC controlled Congress waging the kind of war, which those of us who are familiar with AIPAC’s capabilities expect. Very strange indeed.
From the beginning of this conflict in the Middle East, Palestinians and many others around the world have accused America of being one-sided when it came to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This speech (for the first time) however sounded as if America actually wants to be “fair and balanced” as one infamous pro-Zionist news network likes to call itself. It is obvious–considering some of what Obama said–why many in Israel have their collective underwear in a knot. Rather than the typical “let‘s blame Israel‘s enemies for all the unrest in the Middle East“ the new president stressed that tried-and-true truism that it “takes two to tango” when he said–
“But if we see this conflict only from one side or the other, then we will be blind to the truth: the only resolution is for the aspirations of both sides to be met through two states, where Israelis and Palestinians each live in peace and security.”
During the recent Israeli war on Gaza where over 1300 Palestinians (more than half of whom were women and children) were butchered and Gaza destroyed beyond repair, Obama did not say a word publicly or privately in criticizing the Jewish state and not even when the rest of the world was. He even went further than just remaining silent on the issue by sending a letter to Zalmay Khalilzad, the United States representative to the UN with the message that “The Security Council should clearly and unequivocally condemn the rocket attacks against Israel.… If it cannot…I urge you to ensure that it does not speak at all.” He also added that he understood why Israel was forced to close border crossings to Gaza where over one and a half million people were left to die of hunger and lack of medicine.
We remember the barrage of attacks Obama endured back in March of 2008 while on the campaign trail in Iowa where he had a “slip of the tongue” moment, expressing compassion for the plight of the Palestinians when he said “Nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people.” As a result, Obama spent the next nine months of his campaign proving his love and commitment to Israel and the Jewish people. So what happened? Why is Obama now “turning his back” on Israel?
Those who reject the idea he is doing just that should take stock of the fact that within the Zionist community worldwide bells are ringing, whistles are blowing, and in general a hurricane of screaming and hollering is being heard ‘round the world about Obama’s “anti-Semitism”, his being a “secret Muslim”, a “Jew hater”, a ” friend of the Palestinians” and of course “anti-Israel”, as well as all the others that cannot be listed here for reasons of decorum.
Those who understand the American political system know that someone with those kind of credentials should not dream of being elected even to a neighborhood association, much less the highest office in the world. Obama was scrutinized by every Jew on the planet but yet he became the president of the USA. Confused and boggled? Its ok stick around it gets better. So how could Obama in his first term, and not in his second term and early on make the kind of speech he made to the Muslim world?
As all persons know too well by now, the Jewish people throughout history have been systematically rejected and thrown out of virtually every country in which they lived. In 1290 they were expelled from England, 1392 from France, 1492 from Spain- same year Columbus went out looking for India, and 1497 from Portugal, and the list goes on and on. The latest such experience was in the 30’s and early 40’s of the last century during the Nazi’s rein on power. The reasons cited by Hitler himself were Jewish control of money, media, and political power within Germany.
The recent Israeli-engineered/executed massacres in Lebanon and Gaza coupled with the popularity of the Internet have (finally after 6 decades) exposed Israel for what her victims have always known her to be–a murderous state with no concern for human life or the rules of law. As a result, many people around the world are now rethinking their support for the great experiment in Jewish self rule in the Middle East and the Jews in general. The latest of such evidence is the defeat of the ADL at the University of California at Santa Barbara against Professor William I. Robinson. Added to that is the world financial collapse that many squarely blame on Jewish control over money and banking. The war on Iraq for Israel (combined with the above mentioned factors) have many Jewish writers and leaders around the world (and particularly in the US) sounding sirens of warning or maybe the sound of Shofar- the Jewish Horn-in the interest of stopping the course of history from repeating itself by going against their perceived sense of “Manifest Destiny” even if only temporary.
In other words Jews in the US and around the world have realized the “existential threat” Israel poses to worldwide Jewry as a result of its behavior. Powerful Jewish interests on the left and the Right know what “the Lobby” in Washington is doing must be stopped at least temporarily until they can regroup and the world fall back asleep. More and more people in the USA are learning from the likes of Mearsheimer and Walt rather than from Fox and CNN, and those leaders know it is only a matter of time before the masses in the US start (rightly or wrongly) to better understand the realities of how their political and economic systems truly function and turn against Jewish interests in the USA. The Jewish people–as smart as they are–are trying now to change the course of history by accepting the fact that the dream of greater Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates must be abandoned–for the moment.
Unfortunately for the world that is not how the leadership in Israel feels. Far-right extremists in Israel now rule the country and believe they are obligated to “redeem the land” in order to redeem themselves even if it means killing every Palestinian and destroying every non-Jewish Holy Site. The charge that such assertions are mere anti-Semitic conspiracy theories no longer holds water, as Jews–both religious and irreligious–are “feeling the power” as it were and letting the cat out of the bag as to what their idea of “redeeming the land” really means. Case in point are the comments of one Rabbi Manis Friedman–fellow traveler of Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman– who recently responded to the question “How should Jews Treat Their Arab Neighbors” by saying–
“I don’t believe in western morality, i.e. don’t kill civilians or children, don’t destroy holy sites, don’t fight during holiday seasons, don’t bomb cemeteries, don’t shoot until they shoot first because it is immoral. The only way to fight a moral war is the Jewish way: Destroy their holy sites. Kill men, women and children (and cattle).The first Israeli prime minister who declares that he will follow the Old Testament will finally bring peace to the Middle East. …”
Needless to say, going public with such statements in this modern informational age, where sound bites can travel the globe in a matter of seconds does not bode well for a nation trying to depict itself as a ‘light among nations’ and the only democracy in the Middle East. Obviously then, there are some within the Jewish community made very nervous by such statements and have come to realize that the Jewish state has actually become detrimental to Jewish survival in the world.
In short, the real fight we see taking place here is not one of principals as much as it is one of the preferred tactics and timing.
Some in the Jewish community believe Israel is putting the whole Jewish people in danger with its policies towards the Palestinians and it must be stopped. Despite the racist, bigoted, violent statements being leveled against him by Israelis and Jews the world over, the fact nevertheless is that Obama is “God’s messenger” sent to the Jewish people, a modern-day messiah or the “second coming of Moses” if you will. The Jews must leave this track of destruction which will lead them to the same end they have experienced in centuries past–isolation and expulsion. They must come out and be free from the grip of their perennially-mad leaders whose only real goal–apart of waging war against non-Jews–is devising new schemes for bringing persecution and oppression on their own. Obama must lead them through and out of this “Red River”.
By settling the Palestinian Israeli issue under the two states solution Israel is contained and transformed into a manageable beast. In other words what Obama is doing falls squarely within the interest of Israel in particular and the Jewish people in general. Make no mistake about it, Obama will not “bravely and couragesly” go against the Jewish community in the United States which happens to field an arsenal of WMD’s that includes but not limited to AIPAC, ADL,JDL, and JINSA. These organizations understand that it is only a matter of time before the story of the Holocaust, which was a major stepping stone in the creation of Israel is exposed, and in turn leads to the loss of its legitimacy in the eyes of the World. A huge embarrassment to all Jews and western governments in the World. Now you understand why Israel and the Jewish community would fight tooth and nail to protect the sanctity of their Holocaust narrative, a war that they themselves know it will come to an end not in their behalf.
You did not truly believe that America’s banking system could fall overnight did you? But it did. Is the economic and banking collapse in the US part of this Jewish in-fight? We may have to wait few decades before we will find out.
Of course don’t forget also that the Arab and the Muslim worlds are the only salvation left in the world for America’s economic recovery. The Chinese, Japanese, Europeans, and the Russians don’t want to buy America’s Treasury Bills-which is how America issues money- anymore because they don’t believe they will ever get their money back. In the cold reality of the business world, the only remaining people susceptible to American arm-twisting is the Arab world. Therefore, catering to the Arabs will not only put pressure on Israel, but will also bring in economic benefits to an economically-beleaguered USA. The only bad thing is, economic help from Arab countries will come much faster than any thing Israel might relinquish under pressure.

America is not some supreme , untouchable entity that is above the law. Asking Obama to mend broken fences is like asking a convicted child molester to babysit your children. First and foremost, arrest Bush and Dick Cheney (of course, in today’s world where corruption is legal most know that will never happen). At least tell Dicks stupid loud-mouthed dyke daughter to shut the hell up. Remove the hired mercenary killers who are running free and unsupervised. Release those civilians who were only defending Iraq from what is clearly an illegal invasion in the first place and..

Elie Wiesel vs Encyclopaedia Britannica
Wiesel has been a prominent spokesman for the very sizeable group of people known as Holocaust survivors. [According to Norman Finkelstein of the City University of New York in his book The Holocaust Industry published in 2000, ‘The Israeli Prime Minister’s office recently put the number of “living Holocaust survivors” at nearly a million’ (p.83)]. Wiesel has chaired the US Holocaust Memorial Council and has been the recipient of a Congressional Gold Medal and Nobel Peace Prize.
Time Magazine, March 18 1985:
‘How had he survived two of the most notorious killing fields [Auschwitz and Buchenwald] of the century? “I will never know” he says. “I was always weak. I never ate. The slightest wind would turn me over. In Buchenwald they sent 10,000 to their deaths every day. I was always in the last hundred near the gate. They stopped. Why?”
Compare this with Encyclopaedia Britannica (1993), under ‘Buchenwald’:
“In World War II it held about 20,000 prisoners.. Although there were no gas chambers, hundreds perished monthly through disease, malnutrition, exhaustion, beatings and executions.”

Wiesel Ignores Palestinians

In your Oct. 9 article on Elie Wiesel, the American icon of Holocaust survivors, he is paid a special tribute as a “speaker of truth.” This is the same Elie Wiesel who is continually referred to by Noam Chomsky and others as “a terrible fraud.” What can explain such disparity of opinion?
Perhaps it is because Wiesel, who has written literally volumes Against Silence, remains silent when it comes to such issues involving Palestinians as land expropriation, torture and abrogation of basic human rights.
Perhaps it is because Elie Wiesel proclaims with great piety that “the opposite of love is not hate; it is indifference,” while he remains totally indifferent to the inequality and suffering of the Palestinians. Perhaps it is because he enjoys recognition as “one of the first opponents of apartheid” in South Africa, while he remains totally silent and indifferent to the apartheid being practiced today in Israel.
Perhaps it is because he decries terrorism, yet never apologizes for the terrorism perpetrated by the Irgun at Deir Yassin on April 9, 1948. He refuses even to comment on it. He dismisses this act of terrorism in eight short words in his memoirs, All Rivers Run to the Sea. He remembers the Jewish victims at Kielce, Poland (July 1946) with great anguish, but ignores twice as many Palestinian victims of his own employer at Deir Yassin. The irony is breathtaking.
It is even more shocking that the world’s best known Holocaust survivor can repeatedly visit Yad Vashem and yet keep silent about the victims of Deir Yassin who lie within his sight 1,400 meters to the north. He bitterly protests when Jewish graves are defaced, but has nothing to say when the cemetery of Deir Yassin is bulldozed. He refuses even to acknowledge repeated requests that he join a group of Jews and non-Jews who wish to build a memorial at Deir Yassin.
Elie Wiesel may profess modesty and claim he is “not a symbol of anything” but, unfortunately, he has become a symbol of hypocrisy.

Interesting arithmetic
Have a look at a typical account by one of the seemingly endless number of survivors: Olga Lengyel’s Five Chimneys: a woman survivor’s true story of Auschwitz (Granada/ Ziff-Davis, 1947, 1972).
The blurb on the cover of the book quotes the New York Herald-Tribune: “Passionate, tormenting”. Albert Einstein, the promoter of the US construction of the bombs used at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, is quoted as offering “You have done a real service by letting the ones who are now silent and most forgotten (sic) speak.”
Lengyel says
‘After June, 1943, the gas chamber was reserved exclusively for Jews and Gypsies.. Three hundred and sixty corpses every half-hour, which was all the time it took to reduce human flesh to ashes, made 720 per hour, or 17,280 corpses per twenty-four hour shift. And the ovens, with murderous efficiency, functioned day and night. However, one must also reckon the death pits, which could destroy another 8,000 cadavers a day. In round numbers, about 24,000 corpses were handled each day. An admirable production record, one that speaks well for German industry.’ (Paperback edition, pp80-81). [No trace of any remains of or in ‘death pits’ has been found.]
This implies almost 100,000 corpses per four working days, or a million in 40 days, or six million in 240 days (eight months).
Could this claim be a misprint?
Kitty Hart, in spite of her name a Jewish survivor born in Poland, fully confirms these figures:
‘Working around the clock, the four units together could dispose of about 18,000 bodies every twenty-four hours, while the open pits coped with a further 8,000 in the same period.’ (p 118; Return to Auschwitz – paperback edition by Granada (1981, 1983).
According to the cover blurb, ‘The subject of the award-winning Yorkshire television documentary of the same name.’ ‘Both engaging and harrowing…an important addition to the growing holocaust literature, very little of which conveys so courageously both the daily torment and the will to survive’ – Martin Gilbert, The Times.
Martin Gilbert, indefatigable Jewish campaigner on behalf of the ‘Holocaust’ and biographer of Winston Churchill, adds to the rich flavour and makes his own numerical claims, certainly not without chutzpah:
In his book Auschwitz and the Allies (1981) he states
‘The deliberate attempt to destroy systematically all of Europe’s Jews was unsuspected in the spring and early summer of 1942: the very period during which it was at its most intense, and during which hundreds of thousands of Jews were being gassed every day at Belzec, Chelmo, Sobibor and Treblinka.’ (p.26).
If we assume a minimum figure of 200,000 per day, this amounts to say a million a five-day working week, or 6 million in six weeks, and this does not include the truly awe-inspiring claims for Auschwitz put forward by Hart and Lengyel with Gilbert’s blessing.

Jack never thought anyone else read Olga’s book. Hence you must also have read her exlamations whenever the cattle-box cars bring in the new prisoners as “Here Come Musulman” where the word Musulman is in italic. The phrase to such affect is used more that once in the book. And of course during her time Musulman is what is known today as Muslims.

They can never be expected to abbet an usurious financial system reknown of old and discredited since then. So Sorry Zion and your acolytes but the Arabs and the Muslim world are not like the Chinese who would buy America’s debt to finance her wars and hence let America soil her hands for all the world to see. The Arabs and the Muslim world abide by a different code of conduct given to them 1400 years ago and specifically warning them of the folly of injurious financial systems. Even the mighty among the Arabs would never sanction such a thing. Why, almost universally the death of America’s arrogance and hubris is being petitioned and welcomed joyously.
Whereas the mighty adversary against America is the Almighty, for Israel it the Jews themselves. And all that participated in the victory of the WWII will stand to be shamed as they deserve. With regards to Obama and his speech I can only say it was made in haste. America is still in progress of its unilateral wars against Arabs and Muslims the world over and he has the temerity and audacity to give such a speech even without a preamble of apology of America’s wrongdoings and tortures against the same people. Any Arab or Muslim leader that extends a helping hand to America in its power drunken state stands to fall so fast before one can say ‘the dollar is died’. Imagine instead if all the trillions of dollars that were burnt and stolen in order to support wars if they were used to finance micro economics of the third world and agriculture and education and the health system. Don’t ever think the Arabs and the Muslims are as foolish as the Zionists would like them to be.

A searing indictment by a former President of Italy, Gladio Francesco
Cossiga, that the 911 attack was engineered by the CIA and Mossad,
revealed last week in Italy’s most respected newspaper Corriere della
Sera is definitely a story we will not see in American mainstream
media. The unsubstantiated accusation by the retired head of Italy’s
government is not to be taken lightly, and adds to a growing body of
evidence supporting the view held by many that 911 was a false flag
operation costing three thousand innocent lives in New York City,
initiating the invasion of Afghanistan and the debacle in Iraq, and
setting the West on its current course into the unending “War on
Terror”.
“Cossiga was elected President of Italian Senate in July 1983 before winning a landslide 1985 election to become President of the
country in 1985.
Cossiga gained respect from opposition parties as one of a rare
breed – an honest politician – and led the country for seven years
until April 1992.
Cossiga’s tendency to be outspoken upset the Italian political
establishment and he was forced to resign after revealing the existence
of, and his part in setting up, Operation Gladio – a rogue intelligence

Cossiga’s new revelations appeared last week in Italy’s oldest and most widely read newspaper, Corriere della Sera. Below appears a rough translation.
“[Bin Laden supposedly confessed] to the Qaeda September [attack] to the two towers in New York [claiming to be] the author of the attack of the 11th, while all the [intelligence services] of America and Europe … now know well that the disastrous attack has been planned and realized from the CIA American and the Mossad with the aid of the Zionist world in order to put under accusation the Arabic Countries and in order to induce the western powers to take part … in Iraq [and] Afghanistan.”
Cossiga first expressed his doubts about 9/11 in 2001, and is quoted in Webster Tarpley’s book as stating that “The mastermind of the attack must have been a sophisticated mind, provided with ample means not only to recruit fanatic kamikazes, but also highly specialized personnel. I add one thing: it could not be accomplished without infiltrations in the radar and flight security personnel.”
Coming from a widely respected former head of state, Cossiga’s assertion that the 9/11 attacks were an inside job and that this is common knowledge amongst global intelligence agencies is highly unlikely to be mentioned by any establishment media outlets, because like the hundreds of other sober ex-government, military, air force professionals, allied to hundreds more professors and intellectuals – he can’t be sidelined as a crackpot conspiracy theorist.”[/q]

Good article. One other possibility – which is pure speculation of course – is that the disagreement is being exaggerated so that the US can regain some sort of neutrality again – perceptually speaking, after which, when the US has to support the next phase in the ME war, say against Syria or Iran, the US people will not perceive US support as evidence of their being Israel’s obedient little terrier, rather the ‘reluctant warrior’ doing the right thing in helping her ally and thus once again maintaining the moral high ground.
The reason I speculate this way is that there is zero evidence that apart from recommending that settlement activity cease, anything else has been put forward as substantive policy change. Furthermore, there is no evidence that if Israel keeps building settlements that anything will happen in response from the US. Which means the disagreements remain purely in the realm of political rhetoric in the sphere of the media. As Iran has stated: we have to see change in terms of actions, not just speech.

I have to agree with Erasmus, I fear that deceptive theatrics is what we are witnessing with Obama’s speech of June 4, 2009. The appearance of a return to fairness will make the US not appear complicit when Israel either out and out starts the fireworks or alternately executes a false flag attack of some sort which will require the US to “reluctantly defend our ME ally”.

I too am more inclined to agree with Erasmus. Now with the horrible terrible unprecedented crime against humanity which just took place and which dwarfs all crimes ever committed by anyone else we can be sure that the US will tilt even further toward the Israeli right and will also pass the hate law bill.
Also, a careful reading of the speech delivered in Cairo but probably written in Tel Aviv, shows that it is largely empty drivel and was probably designed to generate the fake furor that has surrounded it.

what holocaust??? Please explain what energy source was used to burn the thousands of bodies per day? EVERY resource was held in high regard including gas, oil, wood, food, etc.
Do you know how much energy is required to burn a human body? I do, and I would tell you but you wouldn’t care to hear the answer.
Stop the BS. There were not millions killed and burned. Many died of disease (typhoid being the foremost), starvation and illnesses. Remember, there was a war going on.
And why was there so much hatred for Jews in Germany? I know. Maybe you should find out for yourself. Its the same problem plaguing many countries today.

The only problem with all of the great commentary is that it doesn’t take into account three things:
1. People are VERY VERY slow to catch on
2. The few that know turn purple sharing the info
3. They have complete power
I would say 2-3% (perhaps less) of the world population know the full story. So what can they do? Spread the word? Ok, so eventually 10% will know. Then what can they do?
Why isn’t every single Arab leader screaming in the mainstream media on a daily basis? Why hasn’t the oil wealth been equally distributed? Why don’t these governments print pamphlets and create websites that fully describe what is going on? Why isn’t Mr. Sarkozy, Ms. Merkel, Mr. Putin and others screaming on a daily basis? I believe they are all following their orders.
I am not certain anything can be done. I hate that sentence but it appears it has progressed too far already. Nobody leaves power quietly. Historically, nobody has had so much power and nobody has had so much power to protect their power.
This isn’t about Christian or Muslim, America or Russia, Australia or Saudi Arabia. It is strictly about good people vs. evil.
I leave you with hopes that God will prove me wrong and that HE will shine his ever-glowing ray of hope on our planet.

I’ve been of the mind for the past couple of years that were I to be Jewish I’d want to keep my eye on the exit and make sure that there was a clear path. Just in case.

Dear Friends, with all my honesty I have to confess that I find the majority of opinions about the so called Holocaust expressed here very simplistic, one-sided and frecuently without any knowleadge of real facts on the ground…
Unfortunatelly it refers particularly to the individuals who have never been to central and eastern Europe, much so remembering the Second World War times living there…
As a Pole born just after the WW2 I have to tell you a few things I remember from my childhood about the Jews in Poland at that time.
Although I live in South America now I have to admit that the Israelis/Jews visitors here seem to suffer from the same lack of sympathy as they did in Poland after or before the WW2 in Poland.
Why don´t people like them here, one may ask?
The Jews in general have the mind set of “parasites”, unscrupules, greedy human beings trying to take advantage of others without any consideration for non Jews.
My friends who run hotels and restaurants in Bolivia and Peru tell me that the Israelis are the worst, most difficult customers among any nationalities coming here…
Before the WW2, my parents and grandparents told me, the Jews were tolerated but not necessarily loved.
The Polish word for a Jew, “ZYD”, also means a greedy person.
As I only remember, after the WW2 the Poles were in general happy that almost all the Jews were gone from Poland;their neighbourhoods gone and empty and their cementaries silent amd ghostly…
But the Poles knew sadly that were the Germans and not them who anihilated the Jews in Poland, about 3 million of them.
Is it so important now if it was done by gas, starvation or shoting???
To the Poles who remember those times of Jewish sloughter in Poland done by the Germans the word HOLOCAUST is accurate and meaningfull.

Dear Roman, it actually does matter if one jew was gassed or 6 million jews were gassed, or if the Nazi’s killed any at all because the jews have risen to a position today in the world were they can influence just about everything we do or say. The current hate laws going through the senate are jewish composed tripe designed to make everyones life more difficult. Now back to wether jews were wiped out or not. If they were then they fall into the same group as everyone else who died or suffered in the war. If they wern’t deliberately wiped out and the whole thing is a lie the the position they have achieved in the world is a lie also, and something dreadfully is wrong with the world. Everyone has the right to investigate the alledged holocaust and I advise everyone with a doubt to do so. I have been at it constantly for near two years and I am in shock as to what I have discovered. This suits me just to know that I have been lied to all my life and like I say I would advise anyone to do their own investigation it the only way Roman and by the way as you said above you were born after the war so maybe you should do your own investigation instead or quoting hearsay and rumour as evidence.

I agree with a majority of the comments. Let’s hope this Administration has the insight to see how it’s been mislead into believing what Israel wants it to believe in order to facilitate specific agendas. However, it is indeed a tightrope. Given that Israel is the only democracy in the middle east at the moment, the US needs to continue to have a foothold in the area by way of a proxy aliance with the Jewish state in order to protect it’s own security interests in the area, re: oil. However, the more that Iraq is built up to be the new staging ground for western military investments, the less Isreal will be a part of that overall equation. Thus, the aliance may shift more to the east towards Iraq, with the Jewish state’s influence waning in the coming years as it pertains to the various lobbies in the US Congress.
